Description

Whoppert Shootin' Gallery is a fun action/arcade game for touchscreen Windows Mobile devices. You can install the .cab file directly to your phone.  Once installed, you can find the game in Programs/Whoppert Games.  Initially, you will only have 1 unlocked level, but as you beat the required score, you will unlock more.  When you start playing, you will see targets moving around on the screen.  You must shoot them quickly and accurately (using your stylus).  Accuracy is very important, since your points multiply when you get closer to the bullseye.  Hitting consecutive targets is also very important, as it raises the points multiplier.  The total score per target is the number of accuracy points multiplied by the current multiplier.

 

There are three distinct play modes.  The first is Falling Targets.  You must shoot the targets as they fall.  The game starts out simple, but as you shoot consecutive targets with high accuracy, you will get many large bonus targets as well, making it a challenge to stay accurate!  In the second play mode, targets are shot upward on the screen.  This may seem simple once you've mastered the first play mode, but there are several tricks involved.  As the targets shoot upward, they interfere with the movement of other targets, making their movements less predictable.  Make sure you keep your accuracy up to avoid resetting the multiplier!  The third mode... Well, that's a secret..

 

Once you've beaten all the levels, you can check out your list of high scores from the main menu in Other -> High Scores.  On that screen, you can take a screenshot with the camera button and send a picture message to your friends showing off your scores.  This game provides hours of fun on your Windows Mobile phone when you're standing in line or waiting for an appointment.  Check out the gameplay video below and get the game today!

 

This game was specifically designed to take advantage of new graphics acceleration features of new Windows Mobile Phones.  It will still work on older devices, but will likely not reach the ideal 30 frames per second.  The HTC Touch Pro is an ideal device for this game.  Other devices include HTC Touch Pro 2, HTC Diamond, HTC Touch/Touch2, and various other phones.  Feel free to submit feedback about your phone on the form (link below).
